oklahoma youth wrestling all state

 

through various motivation means, oklahoma youth wrestling is as strong as any location in the united states and stronger than most. the only way to take strides to make wrestling better in oklahoma is to make wrestlers who are better people.

when talent is equal, the wrestler with better character will win 9 out of 10 against at kid with lesser character skills.

the oklahoma youth all state award is to award wrestlers who have accomplished a very high level of wrestling but have also have good education skills and have tried to make life better for someone who has less.

 

oklahoma youth all state award is for:

placing 1-6 at usjoc & tulsa nationals & okwa state & 1-5 series in the same season

 

oklahoma youth academic all state award is for:

  • placing at any 2 of the 4 all-state events (1-6 at usjoc & tulsa nationals & okwa state & 1-5 series) in the same season.
  • 3.80 or higher gpa (this will have to be verified with a report card or a school official)

verifiable community service project. this needs to be for multiple weeks and be of the type:

  • meals on wheels
  • working a food pantry
  • roadside trash pickup
  • community beautification
  • nursing home or hospital projects
  • any project that will benefit the elderly or less fortunate or the community in general

super oklahoma youth all state award is for:

meeting both the all state and the academic all state standards.

i need anyone who meets this criteria to email me by november 1. we're getting the lists and awards together.

they will be presented at the opening ceremonies at the usjoc next year

 

we will have awards for all these categories so start emailing me with names so i can start my lists please. the wrestling part is completed for the 2012-2013 season, we just have to finish and verify community service projects or gpa.

 

these awards will be for each season and the projects will need to be completed before december 31st of the last year of a season. (i.e. the 2012-2013 season basically is sept 2012 through february 2013. projects need to be completed by december 31st 2013)
